Trader Information

Clarence Park Music Festival receives thousands of visitors on the Festival site in Wakefield. There are a number of pitches available for vendors, food and drinks concessions, craft stalls, fundraisers, etc. and we invite tenders from all trades. Dependent on weather, there may be over 7,500 attendees over the course of the weekend. Stalls and pitches are spread up either side of the stages on either side of the auditorium.

Tender offers are invited for the provision of refreshments, which are evaluated during April and successful bidders contacted.

Vendors may camp on the festival site overnight but you are responsible for your own security and insurance. Spaces comprise ground area only: vendors must provide their own table, power and covering if required.

Some concession spaces have ground space behind which may be used for vehicles; movement of trailers and vehicles is prohibited during Festival opening hours (11am to 30 minutes after the final act finishes).

A draft provisional site-plan is available by clicking hereno site reservations are available at this stage, it is a guide to site layout only.

Bar Concession

We encourage applications for the site bar partner which gives the licensee exclusive right to sell alcohol on the event site during the Festival, and space for the ‘beer ‘tent’ which also includes the second performance area and may include other event facilities in-kind.

The procurement process is a one-stage tender and applicants will be required to apply for the ground licence. The successful applicant will be required to act as Designated Premises Supervisor for the venue’s Premises Licence and may have to obtain other licences, permissions or consents in order to comply with its expectations. Only the bar partner is permitted to sell alcohol on-site.

Download the Bar & Alcohol Tender Application Document.

Bar concession applications close 30th April 2017. All applications must have been received by that date in order to apply for relevant licences punctually.

Non-Food Vendors (Crafts, Fundraisers, etc.)

Non-food (eg. craft) stalls are charged at £35 per day or £60 per weekend (this is for one stall equal to one trestle table and a small gazebo – anything larger than this, please contact us for a quote).

You can download the 2017 concession application form as a Microsoft Word file.

Fixed-price non-food stalls are not permitted to sell food or drink during the Festival.

Standard Food Concessions

We aim to have a diverse range of catering and stalls on-site and as such, competing tenders will be viewed on the basis of value, professionalism and flexibility. Standard food concession spaces comprise ground space only on the grass: vendors must provide their own table, power and covering if required. Food concessions may not sell alcohol – if you wish to apply to sell alcohol, please read the ‘Bar Concession’ section below.

See above for an application form, or to discuss the opportunities please contact us.

Large Food Concessions

Several spaces are available near the auditorium and stage for larger vendor spaces including food vans and suchlike. These are strictly limited in number and are usually highly in-demand. Food concessions may not sell alcohol – if you wish to apply to sell alcohol, please read the ‘Bar Concession’ section below.

Please contact us to apply for the large spaces.
