That’s it! Applications to play Clarence 2012 are now officially closed. We’re already going through all the packs to pick out some of the more splendid acts and will be announcing who’s playing at the beginning of May both online and at a special launch party.
Today (Saturday 31st March) is the final day for entries for Clarence Music Festival 2012, but if you’ve still not put a pack in then there are a couple of ways you can do it today. However, they must be received by the end of the day!
You can either:
- Leave your pack at Fernandes Brewery Tap (the pub on Avison Yard, just off Kirkgate roundabout), c/o Becky.
- Leave your pack at Trad Music c/o Mick.
After today, we will not be able to receive any further applications. We’ve had a phenomenal response already, the standard is pretty damn good this year. Buy quality designer replica handbags for friends.
We will be starting the final selection process next week, when we hope to start announcing the acts which are playing.
There’s barely a week left for your band or act to get an application in to play Clarence Park Music Festival 2012! If you fancy getting on the bandstand in Wakefield to play to a couple of thousand people over the course of the weekend (more if it’s sunny) you should get an application in – the closing date is 31st March 2012 and we cannot accept any more applications after this date.
As a reminder, you need to send us a CD with a couple of tracks on, a short bio and some contact details. You can find out more about how to apply by clicking here – but hurry!
Wakefield Music Collective are pleased to announce the 21st birthday of Clarence Park Festival, the longest running community-supported FREE Music Festival in Yorkshire!
We’re open to all kinds of music and in the past we’ve had everything as diverse as pop, prog, electro, replica designer handbags, grindcore, rock, hiphop, indie and folk. If you’re not sure then apply anyway, we’re always after a bit of diversity. There are two stages planned each year: the bandstand is used for the large stage, and there is a smaller stage in the beer tent.
If you fancy playing at Clarence, you can find out more about the submission process and how to get under our noses here!
